Vat leaching is a gold processing method in which prepared ore is loaded into vats and a leaching solution is passed through it; the gold-bearing solution is then collected and the gold is adsorbed onto activated carbon. This guide walks through the main stages in simple terms and shows where each VISION COMMERCE product works.
Stages of the flow
- 1
Ore preparation
The ore is prepared before it is loaded into the vats.
- 2
Vat loading
The prepared ore is loaded into the leaching vats.
- 3
LEACHING KING solution
LEACHING KING solution is passed through the ore in the vat to dissolve the gold.
- 4
Collecting the gold-bearing solution
The solution leaving the vat, carrying dissolved gold, is collected.
- 5
Adsorption on LEACHING KING ACTIVATED CARBON
The collected solution flows over activated carbon, which adsorbs the dissolved gold.
- 6
Loaded carbon separation
The gold-loaded carbon is separated from the solution.
- 7
Gold recovery
Gold is recovered from the loaded carbon to obtain the final product.
