VAT: leaching in vats
In vat leaching, prepared ore is loaded into vats and LEACHING KING solution is passed through it; the gold-bearing solution is then collected and the gold is adsorbed onto LEACHING KING ACTIVATED CARBON.
What is vat leaching?
Vat leaching is a gold processing method in which prepared ore is loaded into vats and a leaching solution is passed through it. The solution leaves the vat carrying dissolved gold; it is collected and moved on to adsorption on activated carbon, after which gold is recovered from the loaded carbon.
How it differs from CIL and CIP
In CIL and CIP, the ore is ground and mixed with water to form a pulp that is processed in a train of tanks. In VAT, the ore stays in the vat while the solution flows through it, and adsorption then takes place separately on the collected solution.
